Welcome Letter from the Founders

This is our first full launch of the new PrayerConnexus and we are blessed and excited to offer a whole host of new functions, content and community outreach to our current and future PrayerConnexus community. Over the course of the last few years, we both have seen the power of prayer change our lives and the lives of our friends and families.

That success has changed us quite a bit and is probably one of the chief motivators for us to offer the enhanced version of PrayerConnexus. Some of the features you can see today came from our desire to bridge the gap between how we pray today and how we communicate with people in other parts of our lives.

There are at least ten times in the day that we check our telephones and our computers for news. Sometimes it comes in the way of an email. Other times it comes in the way of an update to a news feed or website. And it occurred to us that what would be even more valuable to us is if we could see the power of prayer through those tools.

So, as you explore this site and especially when you submit prayers and agree to pray for others, think about all the ways you can help us introduce prayer to the other people around the world who need it in their lives. In our experience, just spending some time thinking about how to help other people really can change the way we look at the world and at PrayerConnexus, we believe that when thinking moves to praying, compassion turns to action. It’s that simple. That important. That profound.

We hope you agree. Because with your help, we are confident that PrayerConnexus really is Uniting the World in Prayer.
