Request:

Please pray for my colleague, Pablo, General Secretary of the Bible Society of El Salvador. His father, Raul, former GS of Bible Society has been ill and has been scheduled for surgery of his urinary track on August 12. To complicate things, Mr. Duron received a threat this morning from a gang leader who asked for money to be delivered today (I believe $500), otherwise they will kill him. This gang person will call again at 1PM to give instructions of where to bring the money. Pablo will denounce the threat to the Police and will get them involved in the case. It is known in El Salvador how these gangs operate and how ruthless they are in fulfill their promises, in spite of Police intervention.

Pablo requests our prayers for delivery, for protection and for healing. He is exposing himself to this high risk today, as he will try to negotiate with the gang a special consideration for his father. This is a fact that most of us do not experience in our life time, but for the people of El Salvador it is their daily reality. Please begin to intercede on their behalf that our might God will deliver Pablo and his dad and convict this gang leader.

I am praying that no weapon formed against Raul prosper in the name of Jesus. I pray the Lord's Angel's surround him and keep him safe in the name of Jesus. I pray complete and total healing over his body and favor over his life.
